Salads are great in the Thermomix and there is such a good variety on cookidoo. The new Cutter will be a game changer in this space, but seeing mine has only just arrived I'm going to share with you some of my favourites which you don't need the cutter.
One of the great things about the way the Thermomix chops up a salad is the combination of the blades and the speed. It chops so cleanly that the vegetables aren't damaged, which means there is no bruising and there takes longer before it starts to go brown. Therefore your salads last in for the fridge for longer. That's great for prepping ahead for entertaining and taking to work/play for lunches.
If you haven't tried any salads as yet you might like to start on a couple of simple ones ie; coleslaw & broccoli salad from the basic cookbook.
Hope some of these inspire you to have a go at something you haven't tried before.
Salmon Nicoise salad (this one is really a whole meal)
Best oriental brown rice salad (this one is from Recipe Community - you can add to your guided recipes by clicking on 'add to cookidoo' button and it will be imported onto cookidoo - you will need to make some adjustments)
Spice Corn salad (this is the only one I haven't tried but came highly recommended by Consultant Liz Slowey)
